Console Guide

The RuntimeHQ Console is the operational command center used during outages, degraded states, and maintenance events. It is designed to be the trusted infrastructure for incident commanders, SREs, and engineering operations.

Design Philosophy

The console embraces a Calm First and Dense But Controlled philosophy:

• Calm First: We avoid flashing elements, pulsing alerts, and aggressive red gradients. Operational users already know incidents are serious, and the interface remains calm when production systems are not.
• Dense But Controlled: We prioritize fast scanning, high information density, and operational awareness over oversized cards or excessive whitespace.

Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard provides immediate visibility into your global operational state.

It is designed to quickly answer:

• Which applications are affected right now?
• What incidents are currently active?
• What maintenance is upcoming?
• What operational changes happened recently?

By prioritizing current operational state over configuration, the console ensures that you have confidence under pressure.
